Progress is being made on the controversial conversion of a pub north of Bracknell into a family home.

The New Leathern Bottle in Jealott’s Hill is currently undergoing conversion into a four bedroom home, with developers hoping to make an addition to the site.

Elsewhere, two plans for new homes have been submitted in Sandhurst, and an owner has applied to extend their home in Wokingham.

You can view each application by typing its reference in brackets into the relevant council’s planning portal.

The Wellington Pub Company, which owns the New Leathern Bottle off Maidenhead Road in Warfield Parish has applied to add solar panels to the site.

The 15 panels would be located to the rear and north of the site in the garden.

Wellington Pub Company has submitted a number of detail applications that are required so the development can go ahead.

The plan for the pub conversion was refused by Bracknell Forest Council’s planning department in March 2022, but was successfully overturned on appeal last December.
