BRACKNELL head coach Chris Sheasby believes his side are ideally placed to finish second in South West One. Victory in Saturday’s re-arranged fixture at Coney Hill will put them within two points of a play-off place. And the former England number eight expects his side’s experience to pay dividends at the business end of the season.

BRACKNELL head coach Chris Sheasby lavished praise on his side after their 29-3 demolition of Berkshire rivals Redingensians last Saturday. The former England international was left fuming after the Lily Hill Park boys were denied late on by leaders Clifton the previous week. But he felt they got their just rewards at home to Gary Reynolds’ side.

Having lost three of their previous four games, Bracknell knew victory was essential if they wanted to keep their promotion hopes alive and a five-try demolition of struggling Gensians was exactly the response Chris Sheasby was looking for following the previous weekend’s agonising late defeat at Clifton.
