BRACKNELL Town kept their faint title hopes alive on Friday night with a thrilling 3-2 win at Hellenic Division One East basement boys Henley Town.

For the second time in four days, Robins got off to a nightmare start as they fell two goals behind inside the opening six minutes.

However, Henley were soon reduced to 10 men following a straight red card and Lee Riddell pulled a goal back before the break.

Josh Delander equalised shortly after half time and then set up Jake White to score the 87th-minute winner.

Bracknell make the short trip to local rivals Finchampstead this afternoon (3pm ko).

Finch were held to a 1-1 draw by in-form Woodley Town on Friday after taking a first-half lead through Josh Sapsed.

Neil Griffith kept Finch ahead when he saved a penalty from Nick Edwards but Brett Rann snatched a point for Woodley when he curled in a late free-kick.

Wokingham & Emmbrook also drew 1-1 with Highmoor Ibis in the Hellenic Premier Division.

Ian Griffin gave Highmoor an early lead but Matt Jones replied for Sumas before the break.

Wokingham host Binfield this afternoon (3pm ko) after the Moles were denied victory over Wantage Town on Saturday by a last-gasp strike.

Callum Whitty looked to have given Binfield victory when he headed home in the 75th minute but the visitors rescued a point with just a couple of minutes remaining.

Elsewhere, Ascot United recorded a 4-0 win at Highworth Town thanks to first-half doubles from Jon Bennett and Rob Saunders.

The Yellamen travel to Newbury this afternoon (3pm ko).

In the Combined Counties Premier Division, Sandhurst Town ended a four-match losing streak with a 1-0 win at Raynes Park Vale.

Eversley & California remain in the hunt for promotion from Division One after beating Banstead Athletic 2-1.

The Boars face a crunch match at leaders Frimley Green today (3pm ko) while Sandhurst entertain Camberley Town at the same time.
