Chris Last (79) and youngster Soumya Dhadra (77) anchored the Boars innings as they racked up an impressive 271-7 in 51 overs.

Kew were never in the hunt in reply as Godwill Mamhiyo (6-17) wreaked havoc, and Jack Sever (3-4) then cleaned out the tail as the hosts were skittled for just 100.

The result means Eversley sit five points ahead of Wokingham at the top of the table as they bid to secure promotion to the Home Counties Premier League for the first time ever.

The Boars travel to relegation-threatened Kidmore End in search of an eighth win in nine games on Saturday.

Title-chasing Hurst continued their march towards Division 3a glory with a six wicket victory against Royal Ascot.

Captain Nick Sweetman (45) top scored for his side but they were shot out for 133 as Lewis Smith (5-32), Nick Reynolds (3-28) and Phil Higgs (2-59) turned the screw.

In reply Greg Smith (72) passed 50 for the fifth consecutive innings to lead his team to a comfortable victory.

The result leaves Hurst 17 points clear of second placed Wargrave ahead of a trip to mid-table Henley 3rds on Saturday.

Huw Thomas proved Wargrave’s star as they picked up a 64 run win at rock bottom Theale & Tilehurst.

Wargrave elected to bat and were dismissed for 146, before a remarkable spell from Thomas (9-46) saw Theale routed for just 78.

Wargrave welcome struggling Purley-on-Thames to Recreation Road on Saturday.

Eversley 2nds played out a thrilling draw in their game against Falkland 2nds.

Callum MacIver made a magnificent 102 not out and was ably supported by Gareth Cummings (54) as the Boars posted a challenging 233-8.

Graham Beal (95) led a spirited run chase but Falkland were not quite able to get over the line and they eventually hung on to close on 226-9.

An extraordinary spell of bowling from Hafiz Mahmood (6-7) led Bracknell to a remarkable nine wicket triumph against Falkland 3rds in Division 4b.

His sensational effort - aided by Mohammed Khan’s 4-10, resulted in Falkland being knocked over for just 24, and although Bracknell lost one wicket they cruised past the total in a mere 4.3 overs.

Struggling Hurst 2nds were put to the sword at Princes Risborough as they were thrashed by 222 runs in Division 5a.

The hosts batted first and posted a massive 288-5, before skittling Hurst for 60.

A superb innings from opener Jeremy Wing (75) proved the catalyst for Royal Ascot 2nds to beat Hayes 2nds by 13 runs in a nerve-jangling Division 5b tussle.

Wing was well supported by Chris Harding (34) and Nikesh Patel (38) as Ascot reached 206-9.

Hayes were in disarray as Patel (5-32) then starred with the ball, claiming three early wickets to leave the Middlesex side languishing on 19-3.

However Josh Painter’s 51 dragged Hayes back into the game before George Payne (2-20) tilted the game back in Ascot’s favour.

And it was appropriately Patel who claimed the final wicket as Hayes were eventually bowled out for 193.

Eversley 3rds slipped to a five wicket loss against promotion-chasing Cove 3rds in Division 6b.

Matthew Martin (53) helped the Boars to 146 all out after they were asked to bat, but Cove secured the victory in 40 overs.

Wargrave 2nds sealed an emphatic seven wicket win in their Division 7a clash with Royal Ascot 3rds.

Adit Rajeev (5-18) produced an excellent spell to limit Ascot to 125 all out, and Sam Bowers (58*) then led his side home in just 17.1 overs.

Eversley 4ths fell agonisingly short of victory as they lost by nine runs to Windsor 4ths in Division 8a.

The Boars asked the visitors to bat first and restricted them to a total of 176, but despite Colin Webb’s excellent 74, Evesley eventually crashed to 167 all out.

Bracknell 2nds increased their promotion prospects from Division 9a with a comfortable seven wicket success against bottom side Datchet Cranbourne 2nds.

Saj Farooq (5-38) was the chief destroyer as Datchet were rolled over for 101, before Dave Fernley’s knock of 60 helped Bracknell ease to the win.

Wargrave 3rds edged a fascinating one wicket triumph against Princes Risborough 2nds in a low-scoring Division 9b classic.

Wargrave bowled the visitors out for 109 after asking them to bat, but only just squeezed over the finish line for the loss of nine wickets.
