Two Bracknell Kickboxing Club Fighters have become world champions after representing Great Britain in the World Championships.

Nathan Stock, 19, and Kloe Ward, 21, were selected to compete for Team GB at the WUMA Kickboxing World Championships.

The pair flew out to Argos, Greece, over the weekend with their coaches Baz and Maxine Cilia.

Over 1,000 fighters were estimated to have competed over the two days in various tournaments.

Nathan who was the current British and European champion hoped to add the title of World Champion to his name in the under 70k senior men’s division whilst Kloe who qualified by winning a silver medal at The British Championship hoped to go for Gold in the senior Ladies under 55k division.

Both have come away from the competition with world champion titles.

Kloe won the ladies open weight light continuous category, beating Qatar in the final.

While Natham won the men's open weight light continuous category, beating another British competition in the final. 

Bracknell Kickboxing Instructor Baz Cilia said: “Kloe and Nathan are both inspirational to our students, especially the kids.

"Both have trained so hard for these World Championships and we are all really proud that Bracknell has two members on the 26-strong Squad of competitors chosen from all over the country.

"They are born and bred Bracknell kids that are just such great role models."
