Wycombe Wanderers manager Matt Bloomfield is looking forward to seeing the development players take part in the Berks & Bucks Cup.

The young Chairboys side will face Bracknell Town in the quarter-final stages of the competition, on February 28.

The winners of the tie will take on Milton Keynes in the semis, with that match being played in March.

Speaking ahead of the game in Sandhurst, Bloomfield said: “This is a great opportunity for the boys to perform.

“It’s been a while since I’ve seen those younger lads play, and I know they're all trying to do their best to get into the first team.

“There is an opportunity for them to show what they can do against Bracknell, and I’ll be there to watch them and learn as much as we can.”

Wycombe were eliminated from the competition by Ascot United last season, who went on to win the cup.

Wanderers haven’t lifted the trophy since the 2011/12 season.
