CROWTHORNE & Crown Wood look set to seal the runners-up spot in the Premier Division after earning a losing draw at Peppard Stoke Row.

Evergreen Ravi Godbole produced a magical early spell to reduce PSR to 12-3, but an excellent stand of 106 between Andy Watts (47) and Dan Hayden (92) put the hosts back in the game.

However, off spinner Rob Crook (3-44) and Godbole (6-43) worked their way through the middle and lower order as PSR were dimissed for 206.

Chris Allwright (46) and Mohammed Izadeen (42) made a solid start for the Crows in reply, until the former was bowled by Wynand Lamprecht with the score on 85.

The South African spinner then wheeled away to claim 6-53, and with none of the visiting batsmen able to play a decisive innings, Crowthorne & Crown Wood closed on 184-8.

Champions Sulhamstead edged to a three-wicket win at home to BCS Grosvenor.

Atif Asif (49), Shakeel Bashir (46) and Rehan Akram (45no from 31 balls) batted well for the visitors, but Marc Thompson (5-45) helped dismiss them for 182.

In reply, Thompson (34) put Sully on track until a wobble left them 130-6, but Craig Palmer (33) and Ian Williams (29no) secured the win.

Sandhurst’s relegation was confirmed following an 84-run defeat at home to West Reading.

Dan Bird took 5-68 for the Camels, but Taskeen Ahmed (112) and Adam Davidson (60)were in form to help Wests post an imposing 266-6.

Adam Birch (70) was again the only Sandhurst batsmen to really get going in the run chase, and Hafeez Ul-Wahab’s 4-16 saw the Camels bowled out for 182.

Mortimer West End also look set for the drop after they could only manage a losing draw at Woodley.
Richard Stanley (71) Emad Khan (51) and Reyan Ul-Din (48) took the hosts to 230-7, and despite brave efforts from Nick Kingston (48), Gavin Stamp (47) and Abrar Pewakar (41) MWE could only reach 208-9 in reply.

Kousik Dheenathayalan (4-44) and Kashif Ali (4-62) were the pick of the Woodley attack.

Ruislip Victoria gained a vital 23-run win against Woodcote to boost their survival chances.

Ryan van Heerden (4-28) helped restrict RVs to 175-9, and the South African (52) also impressed with bat, but Cote were bowled out for 152.

Division One table-toppers Emmbrook & Bearwood dominated a winning draw at home to Ibis Mapledurham.

Chris Webber took 4-43 but Andy Webb (62) and Ed Oliver (43) guided Emmbrook to 200-9.

Ibis were in desperate trouble at 102-9 after Richard Cole (4-31) ran riot, but No. 11 Webber (30no) showed his batting prowess to take his side to 152-9 at the close.

Second-placed Welford Park secured a three-wicket home win against Stratfield Turgis. James Wright top scored with 47 as the visitors made 164-8, and despite Steve Clarke’s 3-34, Park got home in the 41st over.

A stunning century by Chris Winterbottom (101) kept Goring-onThames’ promotion dreams alive with a 60-run win at West Reading 2nds.

Owyn Tong-Jones (55) also helped the visitors to 240, before Pete Slade’s 6-33 helped bowl Wests out for 180.

Relegation-threatened Bradfield slipped to a 77-run loss at Checkendon.
John Acland-Hood (96) top scored as Checks totalled 232-7, and Tony Breakspear’s 5-48 rooted Bradfield out for 155.
