The men, believed to be armed with a hammer, entered the Coral bookmakers on London Road in Twyford on Tuesday, March 24.

Thames Valley Police has released CCTV images in connection with an armed robbery.

At around 8pm, two men entered the shop and threatened a member of staff with an implement, believed to be a hammer. They took cash from the till and safe.

No one was injured in the incident.

Police would like to speak to the men pictured in the CCTV images as they may be able to help with their enquiries.

Investigating officer, PC Will Townsend, from Reading local policing, said: “I am appealing for anyone who may have information about this incident on Tuesday to come forward. This was a very frightening ordeal for the member of staff and it is vital that we trace the offenders as soon as possible.
