A gang of men deliberately targeted a Wokingham flat in a violent knife attack last week.

A crowd of six men attacked the occupants of a flat in Peach Street on Thursday evening.

At around 8pm the gang attacked three men and one woman before fleeing the scene.

The men aged 29, 22 and 23 as well as the 20-year-old woman, were taken to hospital for treatment.

The 22-year-old and 23-year-old men and the 20-year-old woman are thought to have been injured with a knife. The 29-year-old man suffered a minor injury.

All of the victims have now been discharged from the hospital.

Det Sgt Carl Bradford, said: “This was a frightening incident for those involved and was understandably concerning for the surrounding residents. I would like to reassure the community this is not believed to be a random attack and it is believed the victims were targeted by the offenders.” Two people have been arrested in relation to this incident. A 27-year-old man from London, who has been bailed until April 28th and a 33-year-old woman, also from London, who remains in custody.
