It was organised at Wokingham Market on Friday, October 3, by members of the Wokingham branch of Compassion in World Farming (CIWF).
Cyndy Bunton organised the annual ‘bake with compassion’ event and thanked everyone who supported it.
She said they made £163 from vegan cakes and another £13 from a street collection.
The charity was founded in 1967 by a British farmer horrifed at the development of modern factory farming.
Campaigners are also against misleading food labelling and want to bring pressure on the government of Nepal to stop the slaughter of a quarter of a million farm animals at a Hindu religious festival which will take place next month.
CIWF, based in Godalming, Surrey, is the leading farm animal welfare charity and its members campaign peacefully.
Mrs Bunton said: “We want to enforce correct labelling of food packaging and we are also trying to persuade people that food can be very tasty without animal products.”
