RAIN failed to stop the festivities as thousands packed the streets at this year's Wokingham May Fair.
Live bands, choirs and dance acts entertained the crowds in Market Place on Monday, while the town and Elms Field were busy with various stalls and activities.
It is hoped that the fair, organised by the Wokingham Lions, will raise about 12,000 for Alexander Devine Children's Hospice Service and Wokingham-based Crossroads Care - as well as the Lions own charity fund.
