A SCHOOLBOY has suffered a horrific leg fracture after falling from a skate ramp, it has been reported.
The South Central Ambulance Service reported that a 15-year-old boy injured his leg at the skate park in St Crispin's Leisure Centre.
Two ambulances attended the scene at around 2.30pm before the boy was taken to Royal Berkshire Hospital.
One witness reported: "It looked to me like he was on top of one of the ramps and fell, the ramp looked very high so it must've been a bad fall.
"It appeared that a bone was sticking out the bottom part of the boy's leg.
"There were a lot of children crowded around the area to see what was happening, it was a horrible scene."
