Frederick and Dorina Butler, aged 93 and 92, moved to Crowthorne 10 years ago and celebrated their 72nd wedding anniversary in December at the Dormy House care home.
Family visited the home during the day and a table was set up in the conservatory for them to have lunch with wine for Dorina and a Guinness for Fred.
Home manager Kay Wainwright said: “It was a pleasure to celebrate Frederick and Dorina’s wedding anniversary with them. They are an amazing couple.” The couple had a lovely white wedding with 40 guests at St Dunston Church in East Acton, London.
Frederick said: “We had a lovely day celebrating our anniversary with a nice lunch which the staff kindly organised for us.” They have a daughter, Susan Robinson, two grandchildren, Victoria and Thomas Till and one great grandson Harry, aged 2.
