The man was standing outside McColls newsagents in Harmans Water Square, Bracknell, around midday when he was approached by a bearded man and verbally assaulted.
The offender then threatened him with a knife before being moved along by a passer-by. Police are now appealing for witnesses to the incident and say the offender was a black man, 6ft 2ins tall, bearded and wearing a fluorescent jacket.
They would like to speak to two women who they believe witnessed the incident from inside the newsagents. If you have any information which could help with the investigation, please contact PC Andrew Sneddon from Bracknell police station via the Thames Valley Police Enquiry Centre on 101.
