If you see anyone using a jerry can - call the police on 101.
POLICE are on the hunt for a man who has been cutting fuel lines and stealing petrol from cars in Bracknell.
The offender has targeted two vehicles in the past 24 hours and is believed to be collecting the fuel in a domestic red jerry can.
Detective Inspector Mike Squires, leading the investigation, described the crimes as a "massive problem", particularly as puddles of fuel are being left underneath cars. He said: "We're concerned about the danger aspects of it - it isn't just a theft."
Anyone with information should contact Det Insp Squires on 101 or, to remain anonymous, call Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
