THOUSANDS of people are expected to line the route of the Olympic Torch as it passes through Ascot and Bracknell on Tuesday. See here for the times and locations so you can pick the spot where you wish to watch the relay.

The torch arrives in Ascot at 4.29pm and Bracknell at 5.31pm (see below for full details).

The route for Tuesday, July 10: MAIDENHEAD 10.48am Torchbearers set off from Pinkney's Farm Entrance, in Furze Platt Road 10.50am Furze Platt School 11.01am St Piran's School in Gringer Hill 11.07am Craufurd Rise 11.12am Torch carried from Marlow Road into Frascati Way 11.18am Passes St Ives Road 11.20am Turns from Bridge Street to Forlease Road 11.22am Torchbearers travel down A4 Bridge Road 11.29am Passes Maidenhead Bridge 11.30am Torchbearer joins convoy shuttle heading towards 11.39am The flame arrives at Eton Dorney Lake which is not open to the public.

11.50am The Torch will be rowed down the lake, at the Olympic venue.

ASCOT The Olympic Torch Relay arrives from Egham at 4.26pm in London Road at its junction with Winkfield Road.

Torchbearers will carry it along: 4.29pm - Ascot High Street 4.33pm - High Street into Ascot Racecourse 4.34pm - Racecourse Parade Ring on horseback 5.20pm - Torchbearer goes back onto High Street 5.24pm - Motor convoy takes Torch from outside Heatherwood Hospital to Bracknell BRACKNELL 5.31pm - Torchbearer begins carrying Torch in London Road at the junction with New Forest Ride 5.37pm - Running Horse Roundabout 5.43pm - London Road north of Gipsy Lane 5.47pm - Millennium Way 5.56pm - Skimped Hill Lane 5.59pm - Torchbearer reaches the Peel Centre and is taken by convoy to Reading READING The Olympic Torch Relay arrives from Bracknell via A329/Sutton Seeds Roundabout just after 6.10pm.

Torchbearers will carry it along: 6:14pm A4 London Road (to junction with London Street). Convoy vehicles continue along Crown Street and down Southampton Street; Torchbearers continue along: 6:34pm London Street 6:35pm Yield Hall Place 6:36pm Riverside path (north), Oracle 6:37pm Cook's bridge, Oracle 6:38pm Riverside path (south), Oracle 6:39pm Bridge Street The Torch will then be driven in convoy (at normal speed), to The Madejski Stadium for the evening celebration due to end at 9pm.

Convoy vehicles travel along Station Road, Friar Street and West Street; Torchbearers continue along: 8:22am Valpy Street/Blagrave Street 8:23am Town Hall Square 8:24am Buttermarket 8:25am Broad Street 8:29am St Mary's Butts 8:31am Bridge Street (rejoined by convoy).

8:34am Mill Lane slip road (A329) 8:36am London Street (A327) 8:39am Silver Street (A327) 8:43am Whitley Street (A327) 8:45am Basingstoke Rd (B3033) 8:46am Christchurch Gardens 8:48am Northumberland Avenue 9:07am Hartland Road The Torch will then be driven in convoy mode along the A33 until Castle Hill, where Reading.

Torchbearers will resume carrying the Flame along: 9:17 Castle Hill (A4155) 9:20 Bath Road (A4155) 9:27 Bath Road, (A4) by Berkeley Avenue 9.44 Bath Road (A4) by Burghfield Road 9.47 Bath Road (A4) by Aldi The Torch Relay then continues out of Reading Borough on the A4 until Charrington Road, when it transfers to convoy mode and drives to Theale.

ROAD CLOSURES Councils are proposing to close only the minimum number of roads to ensure the safety of spectators and the smooth running of the event. There will be some traffic delays as the Torch Relay passes through. Drivers are advised to leave extra time for their journeys.
