Witness appeal after attempted burglary

WOULD-BE burglars attempted to raid a supermarket last night. (Sunday)

The metal shutters at the rear of the Cooperative store in Crowthorne High Street were damaged after the failed burglars attempted to force them open between 10.15pm and 10.30pm.

They were unable to gain access.

PC Ian Moore, of Bracknell police station, said: "I would like to speak to anyone who may have seen anyone acting suspiciously in the area before or after the time of the offence."

Anyone with information should contact PC Moore on 101 or call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
