Members of the public can sign the book until Friday, December 5, during office hours at the borough council’s offices in Time Square, Market Street.
Cllr Kendall passed away on Tuesday, November 18, at Frimley Park Hospital aged 75, following a long battle with pancreatic cancer.
Cllr Paul Bettison, leader of the council, said: “We’ve had many kind messages of sympathy coming to us since we announced the news that Cllr Kendall had passed away on Tuesday.
“Alan was a well-known and popular elected member and a hard-working and dedicated mayor.
“We felt it was appropriate that residents and council colleagues should be able to pay their respects in a book of condolences which will be given to his family. We hope it will bring them some comfort.” Cllr Kendall’s funeral will take place on Tuesday, December 2.
