A fire crew from Bracknell attended the scene in West End Lane at 2.30pm, where flames could be seen coming from under the bonnet of a white Vauxhall Combo van.
One firefighter used breathing apparatus to tackle the blaze, while a hose reel was also used.
An investigation into the cause of the fire has not been launched but firefighters believe it was started either by an engine fault or electrical fault.
The crew left the scene at about 3.15pm.
