A HOUSE in Great Hollands has been gutted after a fire ripped through the building this morning.
A family of six - two grandparents, two parents and two children - escaped the house before it was destroyed, but firefighters believe they will not be able to return to it.
Pumps from Bracknell and Wokingham fire stations were called to the house at about 7.10am, and then called for back-up from a further four pumps.
The fire has now been extinguished but two pumps remain at the scene dampening parts of the building.
An ambulance was called to the scene but no-one was injured.
It is unknown how the fire was started but a fire investigation officer is at the scene.
