A DRIVER who has been making "inappropriate comments" to young girls is being hunted by police.
Officers are appealing for witnesses to four suspicious incidents in Bracknell this week.
The first incident was at about 7pm on Saturday (July 13), when two 14-year-old girls were walking along Bagshot Road when they were approached by a man driving a dark blue or navy-coloured car, who made inappropriate comments to them.
The next was at about 4.45pm on Monday (July 15), in which a blue Transit-style van stopped by a 14-year-old girl walking along Reeds Hill.
Once again, the man spoke inappropriately.
Later that same day it is believed the same offender approached three girls in the Golden Farmer pub car park. He was not in a vehicle at the time.
The final incident was in Bagshot Road, at about 4.45pm yesterday (Wednesday, July 17). On this occasion a man driving a white van drove up to two girls, both aged 14, and spoke to them, again making inappropriate comments.
Detective Inspector Katie Smith said: "I am appealing for witnesses to any of these incidents to come forward.
"None of the girls involved have been threatened or physically harmed in any way and there is no evidence to suggest there was any such intention.
"We are treating the incidents as suspicious and a full investigation is under way."
The offender has been described as having a tanned complexion, facial stubble, with light brown hair, of chubby to medium build, with a foreign accent and bright blue eyes. In the most recent incident he was wearing a white vest top and a bandage on his arm.
Anyone with information can call Bracknell CID on 101 or, to remain anonymous, Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
