CYCLISTS will be taking to the roads around Bracknell this weekend as part of the Three Counties Cycle Ride.
Now in its 35th year, the race will start and finish at Garth Hill College on Sunday, June 3, with 600 cyclists taking on 15, 33 or 54-mile routes around Berkshire, Buckinghamshire and Oxfordshire.
Organised by the Bracknell and Easthampstead Rotary Clubs, the ride raises vital funds for charity every year, with this year's chosen charities being the Thames Valley Air Ambulance, Breakthrough Learning, Marie Curie, and Night Shelter Bracknell.
Dave Donaldson from Bracknell Rotary Club said: "Since the cycle ride was founded in 1983 well over £600,000 has been raised for our charities, last year more than £12,000."
Entries for the ride are still open. Adult advance entries are £18, or £25 on the day. Children are £9, both in advance and on the day.
Finishers will receive a certificate, medal and t-shirt. For more information visit www.3CCR.org.
