A THIRD pensioner had her purse stolen in The Lexicon in the space of a month, we can reveal.
The 75-year-old woman was shopping in the Bracknell town centre when she noticed her purse was no longer in her handbag.
A frantic search along with staff in Sainsburys resulted in nothing being found.
Luckily the lady, who will remain unnamed, had a bus pass in her bag, so was able to get home and cancel her cards.
The lady's daughter told the news: "She couldn't understand what had happened or how she lost her purse, and decided to put the matter behind her.
"However, this week she received her bank bill and several transactions had been made via contactless payment in Bracknell stores and then the following day in Reading.
"This has made her very upset and angry."
The lady has contacted police, who are currently investigating the issue.
