A WOMAN had to be rescued from a car after a three vehicle crash on Maidenhead Road.
Two ambulances and a rapid response vehicle rushed to the scene and the woman, thought to be around 60, was taken to Frimley Park Hospital.
Though an air ambulance was depatched she was driven by land ambulance.
David Gallagher from the South Central Ambulance Service confirmed a call came in to the service at 6.11pm.
"There was one female driver trapped in her vehicle with serious leg injuries and three further patients were treated for minor injuries and shock at the scene but discharged."
Firefighter Steve Blackman from Bracknell fire station said an off duty crew manager had seen the crash and called the emergency services at around 6.10pm.
He said: "The crew manager called it in and gave her first aid. One person was trapped quite badly by her legs.
"The air ambulance came down and it took about two hours to get her out, it was quite a complicated extraction.
"We made sure no one else was in the other cars."
Thames Valley Police were called to the scene and closed the road as the fire crews worked to free the woman.
