'Stronger together' campaign kicks off for Berkshire
THE campaign to keep Britain in Europe kicked off in Berkshire last weekend.
A rally in support of keeping the UK in the European Union (EU) met in Maidenhead on Saturday, March 5.
Matt Bezzant, chairman of the Berkshire, Stronger in Europe, campaign, said: "This week's launch is the culmination of months of hard work by our dedicated team of volunteers.
"I am positive that with the momentum gained from Saturday's launch Berkshire will vote to protect British jobs, ensure international security and to remain in the European Union on June 23."
The team have already planned a host of events across the county in the run up to the referendum.
