AN ARMED robber threatened staff at a Bracknell garage before escaping with a bag full of money in the early hours of the morning.
Just after 1.30am a young man with his face hidden behind a white scarf raided the Esso Garage in Downshire Way.
He took a gun from his pocket and demanded staff fill a plastic bag with money.
Detective Inspector Stuart Brangwin said: "I would like to speak to anyone who witnessed the robbery or saw anyone in the area at the time of the incident who may have been acting suspiciously.
"If you have any information which could assist the investigation, please contact our 24-hour Thames Valley Police enquiry centre on 101."
No one was injured in the robbery.
The offender is described as a black man around 5ft 10ins tall. He is thought to be between 20 and 25 years old.
He was wearing black skinny jeans, a black jacket with fur around its hood, white trainers and the scarf.
The garage is currently cordoned off by police as the investigation continues.
