A 42-year-old man has been found guilty of historic sexual offences in Bracknell.

Ajay Gorania, now living in Loughborough, was found guilty of six offences against two women which date back to 2007.

Detective Constable Amanda Winterbourne said: “I have huge respect for the two victims in this case who have shown remarkable resilience and bravery.

"I hope that the conviction of this man will help to bring them closure and open a fresh chapter in their lives knowing that they have seen justice done.”

On Thursday, October 22, a unanimous jury at Reading Crown Court found Gorania guilty of one count of rape, one count of sexual assault without penetration and one count of sexual assault with penetration of one woman.

He was also found guilty of one count of sexual assault without penetration and two counts of sexual assault by penetration against a second woman.

Gorania, who lives on Allan Moss Road, is due to be sentenced at the same court on Friday, December 4.
