A CRITICALLY–acclaimed conductor and musician will be returning to the area to play a show in Ascot.

Janusz Piotrowicz lived in Sunninghill from the age of 11 for 15 years, and will be returning for the one-off performance at St Mary’s School, Ascot, on Saturday October 28.

Mr Piotrowicz has performed at a huge variety of different venues all across the world.

In 1995 he performed to an audience of 5,000 in a concert commemorating the 50th anniversary of the Warsaw Uprising.

He has also performed in a series of concerts at the Royal Albert Hall, as well as performing for the Queen Mother at Windsor Castle when he was just 18.

That wasn’t his youngest performance, however, when he was a staggering seven years old, he gave his debut performance in Rome in front of Pope John 23rd.

The show will be organised by the Rotary Club of Ascot, with 50% of the profits from the shows going to local charities supported by the club.
