A Sunningdale resident who threatened another man with a sword has been ordered to do community service.
Alexander Sedgemore, 21, of Station Road, appeared before Reading Magistrates' Court on December 19 last year.
He pleaded guilty to threatening a person with an offensive weapon.
This was in connection with an incident on August 10, 2023.
At his own home, the defendant threatened another man with a sword.
Magistrates handed Sedgemore a community order.
He will be required to carry out up to 15 days of rehabilitation activities.
In addition, he will have to pay £120 in court costs, and a £114 victim surcharge.
The sword will be forfeited and destroyed.
