DOZENS of cars in Bracknell have been banned from driving after a DVSA operation earlier this week.

Thames Valley Police Taplow officers worked alongside Bracknell Forest Council and DVSA to check vehicles on Thursday, March 14. 

Taplow police and council officials stopped 35 vehicles in Bracknell, prohibiting 26 cars from driving due to serious defects.

A local waste management company was also dealt with for not having an operator's licence.

Three local taxis were given the all-clear and one car was recovered for being involved in a serious offence.
