Binfield Tennis Club recently hosted its annual Charity Tennis Tournament and Lunch. This year their chosen charity was Kidney Research UK, an important organisation for members David and Pauline.
The event was a huge success, with a friendly tennis tournament, croquet competition, lunch on the village green, and a raffle. Attendees pulled together and managed to raise over £3,000 for Kidney Research UK.
The Club sends a huge thanks to David Harper and John Pascoe who coordinated the volunteers and encouraged involvement across our local community.
They also want to thank Graham Brightwell for running the croquet competition, the club committee, the club’s coaching team, and all the club members and their families.
Congratulations are also given to Marco and Tushar, who fought off some tough competition to be crowned winners of the tennis tournament.
