Could we have the next Andy Murray in our midst? Quite possibly with Berkshire local lad Matty Barber, who has already proven himself a pro at such a young age.

Mr Barber, from Sandhurst Berkshire, became the county tennis champion for Berkshire back in August. He won the title competing in the under-14s category, which has only spurred him onwards.

The county championships took place this summer in the last week of August at Bradfield College. Mr Barber wowed the judges with his excellent tennis playing, landing him first place in a competitive competition.

This achievement is one of many to come for the young prodigy, who trains most days at his local club. Mr Barber is determined to become a professional tennis player one day, and with this accomplishment in his wake, that dream may indeed come true in the future.
