EAGLE-eyed bat watchers were treated to an aerial display at a park in Bracknell.
Participants in the regular Bat Walk at South Hill Park, in Ringmead, were joined by the Mayor of Bracknell Town, Cllr Mrs Sandra Ingham on Monday, August 13 between 8.30pm and 9.45pm.
Taking part in the guided walk around the park's grounds by John Wenman from the Ecological Consultancy, the group were able to spot several species of the winged creatures, swooping and darting between the trees, using echolocation to hunt for insects in the dark.
Cllr Ingham said: "This was a fascinating and informative evening enjoyed by all. Bracknell Town Council has installed a number of bat boxes in our parks as we believe it is important to aid and protect all kinds of local wildlife."
