POLICE are reminding motorists not to leave anything in their vehicles after two men were seen acting suspiciously in a car park.
At around 2.30pm on Monday, July 23, a witness saw two men walking through the car park of a golf club in Cross Road, Sunningdale, possibly trying the door handles of parked vehicles.
The witness believed that several cars were entered and searched, and that an item was stolen from one car. However, the police have not received any reports of theft as yet.
Motorists are being reminded not to leave anything on display in a car, as thieves may break into and damage a car to investigate a plastic bag or a jacket they believe may contain something valuable.
Police are also reminding motorists to always lock their vehicles when leaving them unattended for any period of time.
