HOMEOWNERS are being urged to review their shed security following a series of break-ins in Wokingham.
Sheds and garages have been targeted by thieves in recent weeks, most of which police believe are carried out by opportunist thieves.
Police are reminding homeowners to keep their sheds and outbuildings in good condition; fit a padlock to the door; use tamper-proof screws and bolts; install a shed alarm and security lighting as a deterrent; and to ensure all equipment and tools are locked away when not in use.
