A MASS brawl at Ascot Racecourse left two people injured and windows smashed.
TWO people have been left injured following a mass brawl at Ascot racecourse.
A racegoer filmed the violence at the racecourse on Saturday after two large groups clashed inside the main grandstand after the final race of the day.
The brawl came after three people were left requiring hospital treatment following a mass fight at Goodwood last weekend.
An official spokesperson for the racecourse confirmed that two people were treated for head injuries.
Ashley Morton-Hunte said: "Our security staff were on the scene almost immediately. There were two very small head injuries that were treated on the site.
“Our aim, always, is to have a safe, secure and enjoyable race day. Following the recent incident at Goodwood, we increased the number of response teams on site and the incident was dealt with quickly. Sadly, an irresponsible minority can impact on the majority. We take all antisocial behaviour seriously. We can and did eject people.”

Investigating officer Detective Sergeant Alexandra Horne, based at Maidenhead police station, said: “I am appealing for anyone who was at Ascot Racecourse on Saturday who may have witnessed this incident or has any video footage of the altercation to make contact with us.
“The racecourse was busy at the time as it was a race day and so I urge anyone who may have information about this offence to get in touch."
