STUDENTS representing Easthampstead Park Community School appeared at court for a mock trial, and progressed to the regional final.
The Magistrates Mock Trial competition pits schools against one another, with students taking on the various roles in a trial situation trying cases against the competition.
Easthampstead Park had 13 students representing the school, and managed to deal with the uncomfortable conditions, as the heating was broken in court, meaning it was stuck on full blast.
Mayor of Bracknell Forest, Tina McKenzie-Boyle, congratulated the students on their success, and took to social media to share her delight.
She posted: "Wonderful day at the Mock Trials on Saturday made all the more special by Easthampstead Park School coming second. Mr Blay naturally a very happy man and very proud of his pupils. Congratulations!"
The students competing were - Tom Atkinson, Michelle Henderson, Dhevin Manoj, Maddie Kennedy-Rowles, Emma Storey, Mohammed Ades, Owen Picton, Serina Weston, Ryan Haddock, Chloe Baigent, Ellie Nation, Kiran Sharma, and Ethan Brown.
