A WOMAN was sexually assaulted by a stranger who stopped and asked her for directions as she walked towards Brants Bridge.
At around 6pm last Thursday, the victim was walking when the man stopped her and tried to engage her in conversation, before sexually assaulting her over her clothing.
The man is white, between 20 and 30, slim and with light brown short hair.
He was wearing a bright blue t-shirt, shorts and black trainers.
Investigating officer, PC Marc Boyd of Local CID based at Bracknell, said: "I would appeal to anyone who recognises the man in the E-fit to come forward by visiting your nearest police station or by calling 101.
"I would also appeal to anyone with any other information about the incident, in particular if you saw a man acting suspiciously in the area at around 6pm, to get in touch. This was a very distressing incident for the victim."
Anyone with information is asked to contact police on non-emergency 101 or contact Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
