<strong>Division One </strong> PEPPARD Stoke Row 2nds recorded their first win of the season with a thrilling 21-run success at home to West Reading 2nds.

Hugh Asquith (43) impressed for PSR but a middle-order collapse left them staring down the barrel at 112-8.

However, a sensational 100-run stand between Carl Hvass (58) and Neeraj Sharma (30no) took the hosts to 218, with Vinesh Patel (6-52) the pick of the West Reading attack.

The visitors played agressively from the off but were eventually dimissed for 197, with Ian Jackson (4-68) and captain Olly Nicholson (2-23) shining for PSR.

Bradfield also completed a shock win as they trounced Stratfield Turgis by 186 runs.

Matt Evans (98) and Will Banks (54) helped the home side to 285-7, with Steve Clarke taking 3-47 for Stratfield.

Their reply was a disaster, however, with Bob Bolton (4-29) the chief destroyer as Stratfield were routed for just 99.

Ibis Mapledurham stunned high-flying Checkendon as they cruised to a six-wicket success.

Lewis Hart (4-14), Luke Whiley (3-14) and Richard Pilkington (3-31) starred as Checks were shot out for just 81, and Dave Drury’s unbeaten 47 saw Ibis home in the 25th over.

Goring-on-Thames just held on for a draw at home to Welford Park.

Openers Ben Myers (104) and Will Herrington (60) put on 136 for the visitors before they were dismissed for 254, Pete Slade and Owyn Tong-Jones taking three wickets apiece.

Spin bowlers Ian Herrington (4-46) and son Will (2-32) had the hosts in trouble early on, but Nikhil Kulkarni’s 72 proved pivotal in helping Goring close on 206-9.

<strong>Division Two </strong> LEADERS Farley Hill suffered a batting collapse as they fell to a 74-run defeat at title rivals BCS Grosvenor 2nds.

Waqas Ashraf (39) top scored for the hosts as they totalled 204-9, while Trevor Clacey (3-32) and Alistair Jones (3-41) bowled well for Hill.

The visitors slumped to 16-3 before a middle order fightback, but Babar Butt (3-44) worked his way through the side and Farley Hill were dismissed for 130.

Hawley climbed into second following a nerve-jangling two-wicket success at Earley.

Matt Sloper (64no) and Owen Bye (41) impressed as the hosts reached 203-6, but wonderful knocks from Graham Freakes (81) and captain Mike Hartley (50no) took Hawley home with an over to spare.

Basement boys Crowthorne & Crown Wood 2nds slumped to a seven-wicket defeat at home to Sulhamstead 2nds at Wellington College.

Suraj Puttige (43) was the only home player to put up much resistance as Nabeel Mughal (6-18) ran riot to shoot the Crows out for just 103.

And Sulhamstead had no problem chasing that down, captain Jason Doole (42no) and Keerthi Prakash (36) leading them home with plenty of time to spare.

Struggling Mortimer West End 2nds pulled off a fine run chase in securing a three-wicket triumph at Stratfield Turgis 2nds.

Tom Clay (43) was in form as the home side amassed a competitive 206-7.

However, MWE openers Neil Storkey (55) and Paul Belcher (66) gave their side a perfect start in reply, and despite Laurie Figzal’s 3-49, they got home with 14 balls remaining.

Sandhurst 2nds pulled off a shock eight-wicket win at home to Shinfield.

The visitors were skittled for 126 as Shashang Garg (43) top scored, but Doug Seeburg (41no) eased the Camels home.

<strong>Division Three</strong> WARFIELD’S wonderful season continued but they had to settle for a draw against a battling Emmbrook & Bearwood 2nds.

Openers John Curran (92no) and Dan Torry (41) led the way for Warfield as their side posted 201-6, but despite Duncan Greeff (5-44) and Ashley Gander (3-16) shining with the ball, Emmbrook survived on 143-9.

Waltham St Lawrence fell to a first defeat of the season as Sulhamstead 3rds completed an outstanding day for the club with a 21-run win.

Shiva Aruna (41) top scored as Sully were bowled out for 172, and despite Ravi Sainani’s 51, Saints were dismissed for 151.

David Horn (48) and David Harrison (52) made runs for Falkland Development but they lost by six wickets at Welford Park 2nds.

The visitors made 217-7, but that proved insufficient thanks to Abhishek Chatterjee’s supreme 102 and Park won with three overs in hand.

Reyhan Ul-din took 4-43 as Woodley 2nds kept Twyford & Ruscombe to 197-7, before Emad Khan (54) and Emol Lotke (65) steered their side to a dominant seven-wicket victory.

Purley-on-Thames 3rds slipped to a seven-wicket reverse at Knowl Hill, totalling 155-8 before Tony Stott’s unbeaten 52 guided the hosts to victory.

<strong>Division Four</strong> MIKE Storey took staggering figures of 4-2 to lead Crowthorne & Crown Wood 3rds to an emphatic seven-wicket success at home to rock bottom Emmbrook & Bearwood 3rds.

The visitors were shot out for just 113, and Steve Northall’s unbeaten 41 made sure there were no nerves during the Crows run chase.

Teenage trio Dan Bacon (51), Danny May (56) and Callum Ravden (45no) starred for Peppard Stoke Row 3rds, but they lost by seven wickets at home to Bradfield 2nds.

The 14-year-olds took PSR to a useful 208-5, but Dave Comber (102no) and Ed Dack (56) lifted the visitors to second in the table with four balls to spare.

Shinfield 2nds inflicted a first defeat of the season on Ruislip Victoria 2nds, Oliver Sankey making 59 to help them surpass RV’s total of 166-5 in a five wicket triumph.
