A popular Bracknell pub is set to host a three-day music festival this month.

On July 29, 30 and 31 Peacock Farm have invited residents to join them in a family day and fundraiser.

The event, organised by the Bracknell pub and Vsi Razom- Ukrainian community will offer live music performances, DJ’s, food and drinks for all the family.

This also includes face painting, bouncy castles and circus performances for kids.

The festival is being held to raise donations to help Ukrainian people trapped in their home country since the beginning of the Ukrainian-Russian war.

To mark this, authentic Ukrainian food including dumplings, borscht, stuffed cabbage rolls and potato pancakes will be on sale.

Vsi Razom – All Together Ukrainian Association said: “This is our first event and we hope everyone who comes along will find something for themselves.

“We are a volunteer-based group raising funds for Ukraine. We started collecting donations when the war first broke out in Ukraine.

So far, the charity have sent more than five arctic truckloads of donations into central Ukraine since the Russian–Ukraine war broke out in February.

They added: We are currently in the motions of setting up a community hub for our Ukrainian guests in Bracknell town centre where they can come and get any support they need, take English lessons, get help with applying for a job or to just come and have a coffee.

The community group have also set up a coffee morning at ‘All Souls Church’ in South Ascot on Friday, May 27.
