Shahi Restaurant

Rating: 4.5 out of 5 with 358 reviews.

This is a eat-in and takeaway Indian restaurant that is said to have the best Balti in Bracknell.

Located in Wildridings Square it offers options for Vegetarian Friendly, Vegan Options, Halal and Gluten Free diners.

Although it is on top in Trip advisor reviews, recent customers have said that a recent change of ownership has meant that the inspired Nepalese cuisine has ‘become a run-of-the-mill’ Indian restaurant.

A first-time takeaway customer said: “Tried a takeaway from Shahi for the first time this evening and we thoroughly enjoyed the food which I would say is the best in the area.

“I have tried many takeaway’s and restaurants in Berkshire over the years and would have to say this was the best tasting food that I have come across.

“Service and staff could not have been more helpful and it offers discounts for those who are collecting in person, so what’s not to like, great food at a great price!”

The East Asia

Rating: 4.5 stars out of 5 with 160 reviews.

The East Asia on Market Place has been classed as the nicest takeaway in Bracknell by many reviewers.

This top 10 take-away is said to have a ‘enormous menu’ at very good quality and value.

One customer said: “This is my go-to takeaway for Indian or Thai food. Meals are made with real ingredients and that comes through in the look and taste. No ridiculously brightly coloured curries. My kids love the korma and tika masala.”

Another complimented them on their consistency of good quality food.

They said: “I've ordered from East Asia many, many times, including a recent visit in person just to see the people behind the food. I can honestly claim that I've never had a bad meal, which is extraordinary considering the likelihood of something going wrong at some point. But not, always great!

“One thing to note is that delivery can take a while, as they're extremely busy at times. I don't hold this against them, it's more the case that they're so busy that things just take time. It's worth waiting for, though.

“Best dish? Tandoori Prawn Shashlik, the flavour is incredible. Followed closely by the Elephant Biryani (which I eat dry without the sauce).”

One reviewer commented: “My Fiancé and I popped out for food on a Sunday lunch. They were very accommodating and friendly.

“The onions bhaji starter is tasty and comes on very large portion of two bhaji. Samosas were crispy and tasty. The bhuna was so tasty with lovely pieces of chicken.

“Great food - well done.”
