1. Bracknell: 21 arrested after lorry found to be carrying immigrants
Police have descended on the A322 as motorists saw officers stop and search a lorry heading toward Bracknell.
Now it has been confirmed that 21 people have been arrested at the scene for immigration offences.
Thames Valley Police are working with Surrey Police and Home Office Immigration on the incident.

2. Abercrombie Mews: Police rush to Bracknell flats following incident
Residents at a block of flats on Larges Lane in Bracknell have said they are "shocked" after a large police presence descended on the building in the early hours of the morning.
At around 3:30am on April 3, emergency services were called to Abercrombie Mews following reports of an incident on the first floor of the building.
A resident who wishes to remain anonymous said that they witnessed seven police cars, three unmarked police cars with armed officers, two ambulances and a forensics team arrive at the block of flats.

3. Sunningdale named on Telegraph's list of poshest villages in UK
A peaceful countryside village in Berkshire has been named as one of the poshest places in the UK, according to The Telegraph.
An article, published on Saturday March 30, placed Sunningdale near Ascot on the Telegraph’s list of 48 posh villages in the UK.
Sunningdale was the only village in Berkshire to make the list.

4. Roadworks on Nine Mile Ride in Wokingham to last four months
Motorists are being warned of rolling traffic lights along the Nine Mile Ride which are set to last for four months.
Gas company SGN have recently finished work on New Wokingham Road and are preparing to begin work on the B3430 Nine Mile Ride in Wokingham for 11 weeks.
SGN have said: "Following multiple leaks in our gas network, we will be replacing the old metal gas pipes with new plastic pipes in Nine Mile Ride and at the junction of Old Wokingham Road and Nine Mile Ride.

5. Bridge in Bracknell declared unfit for the heaviest vehicles
Bracknell Forest had one bridge declared unfit for the heaviest vehicles on its roads last year, new figures show.
Motoring research charity the RAC Foundation expressed concerns over the impact of severe weather and a shortage of engineering skills.
Figures obtained by the organisation through freedom of information requests show there was one substandard bridge in Bracknell Forest at the end of 2023.
