A man has been held in custody accused of stealing pet food from a shop in Bracknell - alongside other items.
Mark Connor, 50, of Deepfield Road, Bracknell, appeared before Reading Magistrates' Court on March 11.
He stands charged with four counts of theft from a shop, in relation to a number of alleged thefts.
In one of these incidents - on May 17 last year - Connor is accused of stealing pet food and cleaning supplies from the Home Bargains store in Bracknell.
The day prior, he is alleged to have targeted Home Bargains again, making off with food and alcohol.
Connor is also charged with more serious thefts.
The prosecution claims that, on November 16, he stole clothes worth an estimated £500 from Marks & Spencer.
Magistrates remanded him in custody, ahead of a further hearing at the same court on April 2.
