A group of men threatened a man at knifepoint during an attempted robbery in Bracknell this week.

At around 11:50pm on Friday, May 13, a man in his thirties was walking near to the bridge at the end of Mount Lane when another man approached him with a blade.

After pointing the weapon at the victim, the offender asked for his mobile phone.

After he refused two more men approached the pair and again attempted to rob him of his phone.

After refusing again they walked away and nothing was stolen. 

The victim remains uninjured.

Thames Valley Police are appealing for anyone to come forward who may have witnessed the attempted robbery.

The first offender who threatened the man with the knife is described as white, around 15-years-old, approximately 5ft 8ins to 5ft 9ins tall, skinny with busy eyebrows and wearing a dark coloured tracksuit and Nike trainers.

Police have described the second offender as a black male, wearing dark clothing with a hood and a snood that was partially covering his face.

The third offender is a white male, wearing a dark North Face jacket with a hood and a snood.

Investigating officer, Detective Constable Tracey McQueen, based at Loddon Valley police station, said: “We are appealing for anyone who may have witnessed this incident, or who has any information, to please come forward.
