SOUTH Western Railway (SWR) customers are being offered the opportunity to put their questions directly to the company’s top bosses in a virtual Meet the Manager event next month.

People keen to talk about Covid-19 and train cleaning, ticketing and timetables, customer service and information, accessibility, station or fleet investment, as well as any other issue relevant to SWR, will be able to do so on Tuesday, January 26, 2021.

customers from Reading and Bracknell can book a space, brew a coffee, and share your thoughts and suggestions on how to improve SWR services with one of the company’s top managers or directors.

The Meet the Manager event will take place from 3pm until 7pm on the day and each one-to-one session will be held virtually via Microsoft Teams or Zoom, lasting around 15 minutes.

Spaces are limited and fill up quickly, so customers are encouraged to book their space now.

Customers looking to book a virtual session are encouraged to send their request, including contact details, the topic they would like to discuss and preferred time, to meet.swr@transportfocus.org.uk by close of play Friday, January 8, 2021.

Christian Neill, SWR’s deputy director of Customer Experience, said: "We understand the importance of listening to our customers discuss their experiences of using our services. Despite the current restrictions, we’re still keen to hear your thoughts on how we can improve and deliver better journeys for our customers.

"Our previous events have seen honest, thoughtful conversations between customers and managers on a range of issues. I would encourage anyone who’s interested to book their virtual place and have a chat to us.

"We’re keen to listen."
