WE ARE all disappointed about being in Tier 4 during Christmas, but this persistent little local took matters into her own hands.

Bracknell schoolgirl Louisa Campbell, 8, penned a letter to the Prime Minister trying to persuade him to let the town celebrate the big day.

The adorable letter reads: "Dear Boris Johnson, my name is Louisa Lily Campbell and I am eight years old.

"I like to spend time with my friends and family but Covid 19 has stopped me doing it.

"I thought it was going to end in September but it's going into Christmas time.

"It makes me sad and cross because we are not allowed to see our family.

"My nanny and grandad have just come back from Spain and I was so happy that we were planning to spend christmas with them.

"When I went to Spain a few years ago, my grandad pushed me in the pool which was hilarious.

"He has come back from Spain this year so my plan was to get him with water balloons as revenge.

"I waned to hide and throw them at him.

"I understand why we have these rules, it's to protect people like my grandad, however I feel angry.

"I'm writing to try and persuade you to give us 8 hours - that's not even a whole day.

"I'm really good at persuading people because I once persuaded my mum to go on a rollercoaster she did not want to go on and she screamed so loud she almost peed herself.

"Eight hours would give us time to carry out my plan and get my grandad!

"I promise to save my hugs and play fights for after lockdown, I just need to see my family.

"Eight hours would be the best gift that our Prime Minister could give.

"Please could you reply, you could read this on TV if you like.

"Mummy's number is at the top of the page, please give me a call to discuss this matter further and negotiate for a Christmas with happy memories.

"Yours sincerely and hopefully at Christmas time, Louisa Lilly Campbell."
