A COUPLE from Bracknell feel shocked after seeing queues of people outside Costco waiting to stockpile on loo rolls and pasta amid the coronavirus outbreak.

Jade Louise Tranter was sent a photo by her boyfriend Ollie Ankerson earlier this morning, who works next to the wholesaler in Farnborough.

Hundreds of shoppers are seen forming a long queue with trolleys waiting to go into the store and grab their bulk buy purchases.

The Bracknell residents felt outraged to see so many people stockpiling leaving nothing on the shelves for the elderly and vulnerable to buy.

Ollie said: "I think it’s madness that people are going to such extremes due to this fear of the coronavirus and that people are being unfair to others who aren’t able to go out to get these items early hours of the day. When they do, they can’t buy anything because everyone else has gone mad and buying everything.

His girlfriend Jade added: "I think it is ridiculous, I just feel sorry for the people who can’t get out to the shops as much and when they do they are unable to get the essentials because people are being selfish. "We are not going to run out of food or toilet rolls, shelves are only empty because people are buying more then they need!"

Sainsbury's stores across the UK have listed to feedback from customers in light of this very same situation.

Bosses have decided to open the store early tomorrow (Thursday, March 19) to allow the elderly and vulnerable to buy their shopping in a calm environment where shelves are stocked up.
