PENSIONERS looking to move into a luxury new retirement development will be offered an array of cakes, scones and tea.
McCarthy and Stone's Birch Place Retirement Living Plus site in Dukes Road, Crowthorne will be opening its doors for a special cream tea open day.

The event starts at about 11am to 3pm on Wednesday, March 25, and will provide locals will a chance to meet one another and have a tour of the apartments and what's on offer.
Geoff Bates, head of marketing for McCarthy and Stone south, said: “That is why we are hosting this special Cream Tea Open Day – as well as joining us for a slice of cake and a hot drink, local retirees can have a tour of the communal facilities and ask the friendly team any questions they may have about downsizing.”
Villagers in Crowthorne will get to ask questions over a cup of tea and slice of cake, enjoying the bistro restaurant provided at the retirement development.
