Sadie runs a gallery and works as an award winning author in Coral Bay, Australia but felt "delighted" to meet the students again.

Tom Bunbury, headteacher at Papplewick said: "It is always a pleasure to welcome Sadie back to Papplewick and to have the opportunity of seeing her latest book The Bubble which I understand was inspired by years of snorkelling on the Ningaloo Reef."

Sadie signed copies of her book The Bubble, which was illustrated by herself and tells the tale of Nudibranchs - tiny colourful sea slugs which live on the reef and hide in the book.

The former teacher also wrote and illustrated The Whale Shark song, which was shortlisted for a Crichton award as part of the Children's Book Council of Australia Book of the Year Awards.
