SOUTH Berkshire men remain seventh in the MBBO Regional Two table despite their game at Tring being postponed on Saturday.

The Birch Hill Recreation Ground side will hope to return to winning ways when they host third-placed Newbury & Thatcham this coming Saturday.

In MBBO Division Two, goals from Joe Hayes and Desmond Sanders helped South Berkshire 2nds climb to eighth following a 2-2 draw at West Hampstead 3rds. Jamie West and Charles Salmon were on target for the home team.

South Berkshire Terriers climbed to second in the Division Eight West standings on the back of a convincing 5-0 success at Oxford 9ths, while the SuperVets lost 5-1 to Windsor in a friendly.

Fourth-placed South Berkshire Ladies resume their Trysports Three Counties League Premier Division campaign against the side second in the table, Slough 2nds, on Saturday.

In Premier Two, South Berkshire 2nds pulled seven points clear of the drop zone with a 1-0 victory at home to relegation rivals Wallingford 2nds.

Division Five table-toppers South Berkshire 4ths cruised to a 3-1 win against South Bucks.
